Did Not Score A 90% ? Life Is Not Over!

So, its the season for the respective Board results in the country, and I thought why not cheer up students who did not score a 90% because, well, the life's not over yet! There's so much more to life than a Ninety on your result card. Neither will a 90% accelerate your life, nor will it decelerate it. It will just move on at the same pace, giving you enough time to come back stronger, and hit hard upon the world.

FIRSTLY. DO NOT END LIVES. This would be the worst result to the result EVER. YOU ARE NOT A COWARD. YOU ARE NOT A LOSER. WHY END YOUR LIFE ? BEFORE TAKING ANY STEP TO ANY DIRECTION, FIRST IMAGINE ITS CONSEQUENCES, HOW YOUR FAMILY WOULD REACT TO IT. IF YOU FIND IT PLEASING, YOU ARE GOOD TO GO. NO, ACTUALLY NOT. YOU DON'T HAVE ANY RIGHT TO END THIS BEAUTIFUL GIFT GRACED UPON YOU BY THE UPAR-WALLAH.

Board results are, IMO, 90% hard work and the rest 10% is the luck factor. If you worked hard, and your luck is with you, then there's no bound to the number of marks you can garner from these educational councils. On the other hand, even though you worked very hard, Mother Luck may play a spoilsport and decide to give you a miss only to check how strong you are. It this this second situation, which checks your mental strength, your ability to cope with pressure, and how you tackle everything and come out a huge success.

Don't panic. It will neither improve your result, nor impair it. It will just stay stand still. There. Without even a deviation of ONE MARK. Accept the result. It will give you inner peace, and outer peace to the world itself :D . Imagine the situation: You crying after scoring a little less. Do you think your parents would like it ? Nope. Indeed, you will end up worsening yours and theirs health alike. Which I am pretty sure you would not want. So, just chill, accept the result, move on.

PARTYYYYY! C'mon! Your school life has just ended FOREVER!!! Why not cherish the moments! Go to the school, talk to the teachers and the principles and the school darwaan who always let you in even if you were late! Trust me you will love this SOOO MUCH, you would desire taking an admission to the Nursery standard of the school to live it all once more. College life is not as cool as school life. You will never find the same comfort at your college, that you found at your school. The environment is so different, you would think you have come to a different world altogether. So, its really worth it. (P.S.: I will make a separate post to describe my college life, as it has been, so far.)

Lastly, St. Xavier's or IITs is not the be all and the end all of college admissions. Trust me, once you get admission to it, you would wish to bunk classes often and curse your Bhawanipur College friends all the more [Personal Experience, really!]. A decent college is all you need because, hey, at last all you will show to the others, would be a Grad certificate, with a CALCUTTA UNIVERSITY or WBUT printed on it, whether it be any college, barring of course a few autonomous colleges like Xavier's, but that doesn't really make a GREAT impact if you have decent scores in your exams. Go to a decent college, have fun, live the Real College Life. (Sorry, I don't have much idea about Science instis :P correct me if I was wrong somewhere.)
Here's a really cool quote to cheer you up!

Okay I would also give a few tried and tested examples of people who are successful now, but didn't have a really successful school life.
First up, Bill Gates! YES! The guy whose Operating System most probably runs on your computer machine was a drop out! And you know where he is today. Don't you? Yeah. The richest man on Earth. ;) #swag
Second. Albert Einstein. Yeah you geeks out there, the guy who introduced the E=MC^2 formula dropped schooling at the age of 15. And guess what, Time's named him the Man Of The Century. Guess you would be next?
Third. Another #swagger Mukesh Ambani. Do I need to introduce him?
Forth. Sachin Tendulkar. YES. EVEN THE GOD FAILS SOMETIMES. We are toh. still humans! :D
So.. Imagine the potential in you. At least you are passing out of schools. These are just very few examples of Personalities who didn't even attend a decent schooling but are so GREAT Today! Why can't you be? Realize your potential. Exceed Expectations. Live life freely, without any regrets and you shall be a happy person.
